Feeling: A little bit better than yesterday! Our family is going through some pretty crappy times sickness-wise... first Camden had strep, and then my mom and I. Let me tell ya, it's been a while since I've had strep throat, and I forgot how lame it is. Ouch. But on the bright side, as of this morning, my fever has gone down a lot a lot, now it's just my throat that hurts like a.... I don't even know. It just hurts real bad.
Making me happy: It's May! For some reason when I think of the month of May, I think of happiness. It's almost the end of school (well, not really almost, but let's just pretend) the weather is improving, I get to buy/break out my pastel colored jeans, and all is well with the world (except for this nast sickness but we're not going back to that mmkay).
Reading: (finishing) the Death Cure. It's the second-to-last book in the Maze Runner series. It's been about 3 weeks and I'm just now finishing it... embarassing. I am the
worst at including reading in my day to day life. I just can't do it. The best option always seems to be scrolling through Instagram, watching a funny YouTube video, or the newest episode of New Girl on Hulu. But being sick, I actually picked it up again. It's an amazing series, one of my favorites that I've read in a while. I'll def be doing a series-review on it when I finish it!
Thinking about: Buying summer clothes. This is such a silly thing to think about but I look forward to buying cute shorts & tank tops every year. And the weather forecast for this week is P E R F E C T which doesn't help my little money-spending heart. I can't wait to go to the mall & spend all of my money at my fave stores once it gets a leeetle closer to summer!
